I was SO blessed to have my Mom and Dad with us for a long weekend. They came down and loved us. They watched the kids so could sneak away and enjoy some wonderful alone time. They watched hours of soccer games, washed many dishes, cuddled many cuddlers, and listened to many words. My parents are generous with not just their resources, but most importantly, with their time and affection. My best birthday treat? Having my Mommy and Daddy here to still let me know I'm their little girl.
